I had some unmarked O-gauge 3-rail track in a recent purchase.  I'm pretty sure it's prewar but, since I can find no markings on any of the pieces, I wondered if anyone else has a better idea.  There was some prewar Lionel O-gauge track (as well as prewar Ives and AF O-gauge) but this was different than any of those.  At the suggestion of my good friend, Al Osterud, I've started to put together a "Track Identification" display for our Museum and want to include pieces of this, if we can figure out what it is. I'm including pictures to assist in identifying.  Thank you for any and all assistance.

Sincerely,

Peter

Good point, some of the old prewar track had banked curves but I don't know the whole story on that. I have a few old pieces somewhere. Which brands, which years? I think there were also canted straight pieces to go with them, probably just for basic small ovals.

I'm currently using some of the prewar American Flyer 3-rail track with O-40 curves, which is all flat.
