i was doing my annual battery swap (yes, i use them...deal with it) and noticed that the spring assembly on the 844 tender drawbar was missing. the screw, spring, and washer(s) were gone. found the parts description on the lionel site and order the screw, spring and two washers (the first two items shipped, but not the washers).
what i am uncertain about is the order of items. i assume that, from the bottom up
screw head
washer
narrow end of the conical spring
then what? the drawbar arm? is there a need for the second washer? where does it go?
