Hi Forumites...I am asking any PRR modelers for suggestions in selecting a tender for a PRR work train. I'm a 3 railer and looking to make up a believable work train consist. Thanks!

BTS makes a nice crane tender in urethane resin for work trains,
Looks like one of the MTH starter set 2-8-0 tenders might work well.......I may make one myself for my PRR work train.
Thanks to all yinz for your time and suggestions. I am on the hunt! Tom
All those tanks were PRR at one time. The 210F ??? in Kearny, NJ. is similar to the J1 210F84a, but this one is from an I1s, or M1 locomotive.
It's a dead-easy task to swap the drawbar out for a dummy coupler on those Lionel 0-8-0 starter set whistle tenders.
I harvested a dummy coupler off the front of one of the 0-8-0's I used to build my 0-8-8-0, popped the flat drawbar off one of the tenders, and the dummy coupler slid right on in its place. Put the spring and E-clip back, perfect fit!
Right now the 0-8-8-0 pulls it as an auxiliary tender. Tandem whistles make a massive racket. The boys hold down the whistle button on the transformer incessantly.
