Restoring Texas Special 2245 and I cannot find the white star for the nose. Seems like part suppliers are going extinct.

While I'm not readily familiar with the current state of decal providers, there is a seller on eBay right now with a water slide decal set for the 2245.
I agree with Joe too that Jeff Kane may have some decals under 2245-PSA, 2245-STAR, 2245-11, and 2245-12.
I will check again but all I saw were two side decals. I am looking for the white star which used to be available. I would buy the whole set if need be.

Use "Lionel 2245 decals" as the search term and you'll find the decals with the star included.
