Help testing a 622 motor

In a bit maybe. Gotta look for a drawing  of my own 😁

Note there are only two basic ways to wire and reverse a PW motor.

Based on a 2 or 3 position e unit.

Looking to see if the brush or the field goes to ground is the other tell tale fàctor.

As is, I gotta look close at the 622 specs.....ok by me, just an fyi because you aren't really a rookie eh

thanks....but i should have said just want to test the motor...no e unit....

Joe,

1. First power wire to the screw on the brushplate or equivalent. This grounds the motor.

2. Second power wire to one of the two brushes.

3. Jumper wire between the field lug and the other brush.

4. To reverse direction, switch the wires attached to the brushes.
