Hi! I haven't been on the forums in a long time. Last year I took the Pastor position at a small Mennonite Church in Lancaster PA. We of course are always looking for ways to bring the community in. As I got to know my new congregation I found out I had several train buffs. (They're everywhere!) I told them that it would be nice to do a small train display for the kids in the church (big and small) for Christmas. I didn't think we would do anything too elaborate just a table or two with a couple of trains, but we ended up with a 20 foot display with Thomas in G scale, several HO layouts, a 30,000 piece Lego train display, and of course a small O-Gauge oval. (It's just not a train display without some 3 rail action). It wasn't a polished display by any shape of the imagination but needless to say, the kids loved it. We've decided to make it an annual thing and invite the public in to see it. (You can never have too many train displays in Lancaster County) I'm curious to know if there is anyone in the Lancaster County area who might want to get involved. We have plenty of room for more displays so you can help get ours set up or bring your own display. We're excited to bring new life to a church that was declining for a number of years and trains are always popular with the community. We'll have our trains up throughout the month of December, but we may also have a special weekend where we have extra layouts set up for those who want to be a part of the display but don't want to leave their trains for an extended period. Let me know if you have any interest. Thanks!  ~Robert
