I have some DCS questions. Right now I run 2 275w ZWs running my layouts. 2 for Train power and 2 for Acc on both sides of my layout.
  1. I am looking to go full DCS controls.
  2. Can I run older NON DCS trains without having to SWITCH any controls?
  3. Will I need to have so many power supplies?
  4. For instance. Can I use one BRICK to control all ACC?
  5. Can I use one Brick to control all trains?
  6. I want to pull the trigger. I am not looking to go cheap. I just dont want to buy anything I dont really need.
  7. Can I use my existing ZWs?
Any help is appreciated.

1) Then buy a TIU and choose the remote or the app for control ( bought together with the TIU).

2) Yes using the variable channels on the TIU

3) choice of the amount of power is yours depending on how much you wish to run at the same time.

4) sure

5) Yes if it has enough power for the trains you choose

6) The full DCS system is one price and the only other thing usually used is AIU for accessory control if desired. The DCS system has a lot built inside.

7) Yes you can. Older transformers need (should have) modern circuit protection added in the power line.
