A friend reached out to me about a  rear truck freezing up on his gp35.   The rear truck seems to randomly freeze up.  You can take the truck apart from the worm gear to release the bind and it will run normally for any random amount of time. From a few seconds to an hour but it always locks up eventually.   Upon visual inspection  i see no obvious mechanical issues to cause this.    Its currently froze up.   I included a clip for reference .

  Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you and Marry Christmas!

If you separate the motor from the rear truck, does the motor run correctly?  At least this way you can identify an electrical or motor issue from a truck gear issue.

FYI, the model number is 6-28855 - someone is going to ask.

Thank you for the model#.   I had intended to include it but forgot.

I did run the motor separately at one point in the past and it did operate freely.

I will take it apart though and retest it this evening and report what I find.
