help with NEW Williams Berkshire

Just opened a new Williams by Bachman Berkshire and had to test run. Ran nice like a new one, but has no bell and whistle. Using a MTH 1000 for power so don't think power is the problem.. Is it suppose to have True Blast like the instructions say or am I missing something?

Remove the tender shell and look for the volume pot on the sound board. It will be a round disk with a slot for a screwdriver. Work it back and forth a few times, then test. I had this issue with my Alco FA set when new, I did this and it's worked fine since. Also check for loose plugs/wires on the boards.
