I just love the contrabass trombone.
@Hot Water posted:Just my opinion but, maybe this is a perfect example of "current parenting" and why our younger generations have absolutely NO sense of responsibility. Many "modern parents" do NOT want to tell little Billy/Sally "no", as that might stunt their development. Good grief! Thus, the kid in the video gets no constructive criticism, nor guidance, nor punishment. Again, in my opinion, the parents are more to blame than the poor kid, as he was probably NEVER disciplined.
Nah, I'm sure his parents NEVER were made aware of this incident to have the opportunity to discipline him. The kid most likely isn't going to mention it to them. Try to think back to when you did stupid stuff as a kid - did you ever tell your parents? Heck no. The only way they found out is if someone caught you and told them. If that happened, of course you caught holy ****.

Or maybe the kid went under the train because he knew he'd be whupped if he let his new bike get trashed....
"Current parenting" tends to be wildly overprotective of kids, so it takes a whole lot of 'creativity' to blame it for this.
If I did that, and my parents found out, I would at least get a verbal colonoscopy.

I did so much idiotic stuff as a teenager that I'm amazed that I'm still around! You have to remember that when we're young, we have the illusion that we're invincible and nothing can harm us. I think back now at some of the really dangerous and stupid things I did and marvel I'm here with all my extremities intact! I'm sure most teenagers also have an inflated sense of their own capabilities, I know I was certainly guilty of that. It's just unfortunate that some don't live under that lucky star and pay dearly for their reckless acts.

I hear my guardian angle applied for a transfer when I was a teenager...

I'm afraid my Guardian Angel did as well, so I don't do all the risky stunts I did when I was younger.
