Who will order the Norfolk Southern heritage units from your favorite builder? Please no flames whoever you support. So far I have ordered the Southern from MTH and the EMD demo from Lionel. I know the demo is not NS but it is so nice I had to have it. From what I have seen the Pennsy is a must have so far although I wish NS put the cab numbers on the front of the cab instead of the top middle. When others come along I'll see what catches my eye.

I have placed an order for the Railking "original Norfolk Southern" and will probably order the Virginian as well from the most recent catalog. After that I will probably pick up the Southern, NYC, Pennsylvania, Nickel Plate, Lackawanna, Central of Georgia and perhaps the Illinois Terminal and Interstate. Im gonna stick with the Railking versions due to the price, even though they are all gonna be SD70ACE's. It's gonna be an expensive few years!
I'm seriously debating about ordering the Nickel Plate Road ES44. The Wabash also has a soft spot in my heart...but you can't get them all. I would like to get just 1 NS Heritage Locomotive.
In my case I have a CSX Dash 8, and the SD50s which I like to run at the National Capital Trackers. I'd love to throw on a Heritage unit and have a run through.
It's kind of weird...NS really didn't do much for me. I like to railfan CSX...but since they launched this program, my thoughts and feelings about NS have changed, and I am starting to take an interest in the railroad.
Now we just need BNSF and Canadian Pacific to have a similar program! What I would do to see an ES44 painted in Milwaukee Road colors or Northern Pacific colors.
I will go with MTH Premier Interstate since I have the MTH Interstate RS-3
Lackawanna and ??????
Lackawanna and PRR.
Legacy PRR.

Because I'm buried in the same type UP heritage engines, I'm passing on all the NS heritage units. Don't want more SD'70s of any road.
But, I'd make an exception for a MR ES44..

NS (original), Interstate, Central of Georgia, Wabash, and maybe PRR. I just wish MTH would produce non-powered units, too, like they did with the IAIS RI engine. One could get a few more engines without breaking the bank.

Picking up Nickel Plate for sure from MTH. I like the PRR unit as well, but I dont know if I'll be ordering that or not... depends what the SD70's look like coming out of EMD.
I'm holding off until NS releases all of the 1:1 units before deciding if I must have any of them or not. A fixed pilot PC unit might be nice.
BEE LINE!!!!!
Today riding the riverline in south jersey i saw a full scale version of the NS PRR
Sd 70 or maybe 80 it was still shiney and was beautiful tuscan w/4 or 5 gold stripes. and the PRR keystone
