My son is getting ready to graduate in June from UCLA.  He is applying for a Master's program at Northwestern University.  I know nothing about Illinois...and no...I haven't looked at an atlas yet (but I will).  I'm sure the boss and I will be visiting him a few times.  Is Chicago far from where you live?  I've never been to Illinois...but sometime...if it's close...I'd spring for the adult beverages just to see your layout. Matt

Matt, our town is about 12 miles due west of downtown Chicago, on the Burlington main line. Visitation shouldn't be a problem.

YES, THIS is a really nice Layout, as Rich Melvin did a Remarkable Film Presentation, and one on one Interview...There is a lot of Really Neat Roundhouse Detailing with Turntable and all the Engine Facilities.. I would like very much to see this layout in person.

i might add that his table work and Train Room is really nice..Congratulations goes to the OGR FOLKS, and HOT WATER..THANKS.

 Rich, it would be cool if there was a list describing all the video's content for each. I couldn't find one.

I just ordered mine.   I was fortunate enough to see his layout first hand and it's very impressive.  It would require multiple visits to take it all in so I can at least see more in the video as I patiently wait in hopes of receiving another invitation.

I appreciate the offer. And yes, I'll be at Trainfest for sure.  Should be a great time, although I'm curious to see how it will be rooming with Sasquatch.  I don't think I have to go out on a limb to guess he has the snoring habits of Gentle Ben.

BF - I guess that explains the smoke detectors   going off in the middle of the night, and the has-mat team  that swept the 2nd floor.   

I did once, remember 208
