Hi, do any other companies make KCS aluminum passenger cars? I can't seem to find any from Lionel, doubt I could afford them anyhow. Wondering if MTH maybe? or other companies?

When you say "any OTHER companies", that leads one to believe that SOME COMPANY made them in the past, right? I have seen KCS passenger cars in the current "KCS Business Train" scheme, but I'm pretty sure they were of ABS construction.

Yes, Lionel made a nice set a few years back. Apparently not too many because they are hard to find. Just was wondering in someone knew of MTH or Williams making them, because I do not. Thought it might be another affordable avenue to get some to go with my Lionel KCS F3's.

Lionel made some short KCS cars back in the 90's. They were aluminum, had very nice graphics, and are not real easy to find now. They also made a set of F units to go with them. I think the cars were 13" but they might have been 15". You can find them on eBay but they go for a pretty good price.

I have a couple of sets of MTH KCS cars, one set of which is for sale. These are 18" ABS (not aluminum) cars. As far as I know MTH never made KCS cars in aluminum, and I've never seen anything in KCS from Weaver or anybody else.

I have a real nice set of Lionel F3 diesels. Lionel made some 16" cars to go with them, they are aluminum. Yes hard to find. They are #6-19194.

Any pics of your MTH cars? 18" is a bit long for me but would like more info.
