Any Lionel or Hobby shops that are recommended in the White Plains area of Westchester, NY? I am going to be there on business next week.

Hi, I live in White Plains. There is no decent hobby store in White Plains. There is Toms Trains in Ardsley, about 10 minutes away. And I work there on Tuesday. Feel free to ask any questions, I also work for the city of White Plains so anything you need ask me!
Westchester trains and hobbies is in white plains. If you collect pw they have a good selection. Not a good place for someone that buys new.
I lived in White Plains for many years.
Listen to Cincytrains.
Go to Ardsley.
It is only twenty minutes.

is there daily or free parking at the White Plains metro north station? If I take the train into NYC.

No, there is no free parking anywhere near the train station. There is some municipal meter parking but it gets taken quickly. You need to get it early. There is a lot on North Lexington, next to Pepe Infiniti that you pay a flat fee. Depending on where you are you can take s taxi to/from the station. Most of the parking at the station is resident permit only.
