In Ft. Myers-

Metro Trains and Hobbies, 12951 Metro Pkwy., Fort Myers, FL 33966

I "rediscovered" model railroading and discovered O Gauge at Metro Trains and Hobby.   Jack Bowles (owner) designed my track plan, and sent it to me.  Once finalized I bought all my track, a redone ZW, and a couple of new engines there. He shipped everything to me at my home- at a discount due to the volume.

A great place to visit- very knowledgeable, and a good stock level of HO, N and O Gauge trains.  Also a decent stock of used O Gauge and Am Flyer.

H & R Trains in Pinellas Park is a very fine train store.  All scales, great service and repair.  They just moved, so make sure you have the new location.  I haven't been there since they moved.

Zitnit's Trains is relatively new, only been open about three or four years.  All scales, great service and repair.  They also buy collections, so he has a good selection of preowned items.  Also a good selection of used Flyer and Lionel parts.  His store is a little hard to find, sitting behind the McDonalds on Ulmerton Road, (Route 601?) in Pinellas Park.

Have visited H&R Trains many times when we had a house in Haines City.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I do understand they have recently moved from their original location.

Another place I recommend is Ready to Roll if your down in Miami. Again they are friendly and helpful. They carry a good range of Lionel but a huge range of MTH.
