I picked up a Hoge 750 streamline loco over the weekend. The pinion gear on the armature does not mesh with the gear between the driving wheels. The pinion gear and the gear between the drivers do not appear to be worn so I'm guessing the pinion may have been switched out to something smaller than original.
Any information on what size gear should be on the pinion gear (number of teeth) would be helpful to determine what I'm dealing with.
There are places to buy miniature spur gears, but I would need the gear DP and pressure angle to mate correctly to the other gears. I'm doubtful this information exists anywhere.
