Thats awsome. Please post more yourself, or try to get him to. I think lots of folks would to a post post on how it works; motor & frame hardware, etc
.. I've been trying to think of how to incorporate something with similar concept myself, and that looks like great inspiration to rob ideas from. It's basically the other side of the mountain, and I'd love to see what I can see
This is the mine lift. I want to run up this small vertical, along the plateau(1ft ish) in a small ore car, then down an incline to a dump bin to wait for RR cars.
hello Adriatic
when he built it he did not make any plans he said he used a motor from hobby shop and it runs on batteries. he hand made the cars and buildings. he said he has to manually switches the direction ea time it reaches the top. I told him after xmas let me look at it that I would convert it to electric and would use a relay or infer red to automatically switch it.
hello all
I do not post must but read a lot and learn a lot from the forum. I received a email for the rescue fire company train garden wanting information on the incline plane my brother made we are happy to be able to donate most of the parts to them to build one and they will be putting it on there xmass display this year.
thank you
kevin
