Hey fellas,

I'm filming a video where I use my collection of "Homies" figures on the layout. I had forgotten all about my Homies collection until someone else in the hobby had them on his layout. I want to give credit where credit is due for giving me the idea, but I can't remember who it is who had showcased the used of Homies figures on his layout. He's been in the magazine and I think he's also been featured on great layout adventures. It's on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember who it is. Anybody recall his name?

Maybe it's Munoz Lines...I can't recall. Frustrating.

Thanks,

Eric Siegel

Hi Eric

Since I wasn't sure what a homie really meant?????   Just in case someone else is caught off guard or like dummy me, here all :

Homies are a series of two-inch plastic collectible figurines representing various Chicano Mexican American characters. The line of toys was created by David Gonzales[1] and based on a comic strip that Gonzales created[2] featuring a cast of characters from his youth.[3] Introduced in the year 1998, Homies were initially sold in grocery store vending machines & have become a highly collectible item among people who love them,

Hi Eric,

The guys are right that the Homies will always have a home here on the CNY Railroad:

But, they have also enjoyed traveling back and forth from here to Don Klose's nearby Bellevue and Schenectady Railroad.

On any given day, they make up the majority of visitors to his Wildwood Harbor attractions, as well as his downtown Schenectady scenes.

Homies also have an Obama figure.  He's been added to the O gauge layout at he InfoAge Science center.  He is there with the Secret Service and "the Beast."  The scene depicts the time that the Beast bottomed out in a driveway in France.  Added some Homie Secret Service too so you can see their scale in the picture.  I had to add the podium too.The Beast
