What i have done with original JB WELD .

Fixed a postwar war tender screw hole that was broken off by inserting a slightly larger plastic straw over it then with tooth pick would let the mixed JB drip down into straw let it set some then slowly screwed in screw not quite all the way in then backed screw out.

I'll be darn once dry i cut off straw with razor and carefully screwed in the screw just until snug  just waiting for it to crack off. Never did .

Fixed a 1/4 end portion of front pilot on a postwar 671 turbine hand sanded then sprayed and came out nice. Took several times as i used tape on backside because of void 1/4 of pilot was completely gone.

Old 1996 Jeep 6 cylinder ran over something years back that made a 3 inch crack in oil pan , drained oil wiped and wiped and wiped until it was dry and smeared mixed Jb weld it lasted 150,000 miles finally had to scrap Jeep with 298,000 miles on it when the front seats were about to fall thru rusted out floor.

Broke my heart as its straight HO 6 cylinder engine ran like a top 4 speed with overdrive could manually select 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive.
