One of my North Carolina neighbors reported that he spotted one of our side entry doors ajar. Upon closer inspection, he realized it had been forced open, and that we had possibly been robbed! He transmitted some downstairs cell phone pics via e-mail, and it confirmed the worst: all of our downstairs electronics were taken, as well as a vintage Viansa wine collection, a prize elephant chair carved out of a cubic meter of Teak, and the following trains:
The Lionel reissue 128 Station and Terrace (early colors)
Lionel Power Station with translucent windows & operating smoke stacks
MTH standard gauge Blue Comet 400E and four cars "Faye", "Westphal", "Halley", and "Temple".
MTH dark green 408E traditional
NO boxes for these items were taken, as they were stored in a separate area.
Nothing was stolen from the second floor.
I have both TCA insurance and collector riders with my homeowners for my trains and my wife's collectibles, so I should be OK.
