I don’t know about meck - my spell check wanted to change it to “neck” - but Stevenson has the best patterns for the trucks, and can cast you a set. Sprung. Gorgeous! Better than the latest Lionel.

Probably "deck". As already mentioned , Ed passed quite a while back. You might find info. in back issues of the late "48/ft O Scale News" as Ed advertised there regularly. I think his GG1 may have been the old Alexander.
