How about Atlas O, Lionel and MTH offer Hoppers like this, No road names….."Data Only"(See Pictures)

Atlas offered 55 ton hoppers as "data only". I dont think it would be too much of a leap for them to print the other cars like that as well, unless the data cars didnt sell...

And then have someone make an assortment of decals that are easily transferable.For us not so gifted crafter's.

I would be in if they were aluminum.  I only have aluminum hoppers.

Offering “Data Only” box cars, gondolas, flat cars, tank cars, and covered hoppers from time to time would be great. What about a “Data Only” caboose?
