Hi -
My Lionel Legacy NKP 767 has the word 'GREASE' stamped underneath. How should one go about this said greasing please? (I have the grease as supplied by Lionel).

grease on gears
oil on all other metel to metel surfaces, wheel axles, side rods, armature spindle, elc.
if this is the same locomotive, you have 10 mounting screws that hold the plate over the drive wheels. you may need to take that off
and grease the gear box where all gears mess up with the drive wheel axles.
Did you check your user's manual?
Many thanks. Yes, I should have read the manual, even so one could say it is not exactly detailed in its explanation. I'll take a look under that cover.

I believe there are two screws on the bottom marked as grease ports. I recommend only adding grease to the port over the drive gear. It will be a rasied cylinder shape compared to the other. Use light oil on everything else. I have been using a needle tip applicator to drop one dot of oil on each axle. You won’t need a ton of grease or oil for either application. use sparingly. A little goes along way. A tip for doing the axles if you don’t have a needle tip applicator you can use a zip tie. Put a drop on the tip of the zip tie with there flat shape they slide in between the wheel set and the frame very nicely. If you need anymore help with this let me know. I’ve had this particular model down to the bare chassis a few times now.
Is there something wrong with my phone ? - or is Popi’s Berkshire a little condensed 😳

It’s condensed but we still can understand it.
👍🏼
Remove the screw marked "grease", insert the end of the grease tube into the screw opening, squeeze in some grease, put the screw back in. Done 😁.
