Is there a preferred Internet browser?  Is there a "better" format?  I have made numerous attempts with no success.

I can get a .MOV file to display and play using windows media.  However, when I hit "insert" the video does not insert.

I converted my .MOV file to a flash player file, .FLV, no luck I can't get it to display at all.

Advice?  Suggestions?  Instructions?  I'm out of ideas.  My browsers are both updated with the latest versions and so are my players.

I'm barely computer literate, but my movies get saved as quicktime files in the same manner as my photos.

To upload the movie files from my computer onto a forum post I click on the "add attachments" at the bottom left of the "reply box" and paste the file there, just as I would for photos.

It may take a few minutes to load as Marty said, depending on length. Once it appears on my post it sometimes takes a couple of minutes before it will play, when its clicked on.

When uploading video from youtube, I copy the URL and paste it into the dropdown that appears when I click on the film strip icon at the top right of the "reply box"
