I know people love getting their trains fixed. It's almost always worth the time and effort someone puts into getting any train back to full operating condition. But, I must ask, has anyone had a rather bewildering, and very long, experience like I had in getting a train fixed?

 

My story is that I had an MTH PS1 steamer (Premier Blue Comet to be precise) upgraded to PS2, but the board was bad as soon as I had the computer sound file loaded into it. That happened July of 2012, and I still haven't gotten it back fixed from MTH who need to give it new boards and wiring. So, it's a toy train fix up story that is, unfortunately, still unfinished...
