I only have 2 R32 sets now. I used to have the R40 slant set and the R26 redbird set but I sold them both.

My R32 sets are:

The DAP R32 set

The R32 CC set with proto 3 which needs the purple wire soldered back on the the DCS/DCC switch. For some reason MTH didn't do  a good job with that but the train runs fine in conventional

All of the R36 worlds fair cars plus 2 R33 singles. So like 14 sets plus add ons for all except the R12 red shuttle which was a 4 car train in real life. Here’s some photos after weathering & adding hand cut windows. I like subways! 😃

Nice, I have always (since I first saw one, anyway) liked the McGinnis scheme. Was the K-Line NH EP-5 that we talked about this one:

As you can see, it has been two-railed:

Hello Again  Dave  (K) ------

YES -- that is the same EP5 New Haven Electric Loco (K Line)  and Maginnis Paint Scheme that - heh -  "you know who"  has just won from Stoudt Auction and a good price in mint condition from the photos I saw from the auction of the loco for sale.  Now I have O Scale passenger cars to match his Maginnis Paint Scheme EP 5 Loco -- or my own Maginnis Paint Scheme F Unit Diesel and (see below) my Box Cab Electric NHRR Locos.   Regards - Joe F

the statement that MTH will no longer produce them is NOT true. I talked to a very close friend to Mike Wolf today and he stated that MTH still has the tooling for the subways set....both Railking & Premier. He said that Mike told him that MTH will be coming out with a new run of both of them....Railking & Premier. They will be a small run of them. He didn't say which ones ...which road name, but it will be sometime after the holidays. So if anyone is interested in more subway sets...keep an eye or ear out for the announcement.

I now have two 4-car sets of CTAs and one 6-car set, most of which have been purchased on the secondary market -- no easy task.  I haven't had the patience to wait to MTH to reissue.  Perhaps working with the Chicago government is no easy task or maybe New York subways are just the highest priority because of volume for MTH.  At any rate, I'd be a happy camper if I could land two 2-car CTA sets to complete my collection.
