About how much pulling power does an MTH Premier CN U-1-F 4-8-2 Mountain have?
I understand that this is an extremely specific question, and would be happy with stats from similar engines that can be assumed to be about the same.

Agreed. Pretty much ANY eight driver steam locomotive I own from MTH handles 50 freight cars without issues.

you would be really surprised how little a rolling train really weighs. get a luggage scale and hook it up to the front car. 1 or 2 pounds is what I have seen a 40 car train weigh.
