Hi People,

I have Built a small , yet, DREAMT big layout, I had gone bunkers, by running wires a round my layout, once run traditional conventional  locomotives, when I began train, engine running,  I developed incline and descent of travel for the engines. But since I  developed like in the DCS System. I want know how I can change what I have from before. Without too much hassle.

Many people find STAR wiring to be unnecessary for smaller layouts.  My suggestion would be to acquire the DCS system of your choice (if you can find one today) and hook it up by following the owner's manual.  Then, if it doesn't work to your satisfaction, let us know.

By the way, your diagram isn't real clear about where your current electrical connections to the track now exist or what kind of transformer you are working with.  DCS doesn't work well with all available transformer types.

PRR1950,

Hi,  had circle idea to run my bus lines beginning in front  of the right table going back and around the next table, I didn't express this on the sheet, I did do one bus line (gauge 14) to stop at the second table, by 2 each wire meet terminal blocks.

The other bus line ran the whole entire layout, (both tables) identified as Line1. I am using drops of 16 gauge, 4 to 6 feet apart, which I read 10 feet is more suited.  would this over 'kill' I thought.
