How to read Lionel's screw sizes

First number is shoulder diameter, 2nd number is shoulder length, last two are thread diameter and pitch respectively.

Thanks Pete! I'm always curious where people learn things, but when I went to Google this topic, there were a couple of sources that took me right off the deep end with a gazillion different measurements! All I want to do is to be able to pick up a screw in one hand, a caliper in the other, and figure out what the measurements are for the screw - I now know that - thanks!!
