Just finished assembling my Mianne benchwork and getting ready to start laying the track.  I’m wondering how to remotely control my Lemax Amusement rides.

I’d like to be able to turn the individual amusement rides,  I have five of them, on and off and also how to hide the wires on the existing Lemax controllers.  Can the wires be extended.  Is there an electrical device that could be remotely addressed.

For track power I am using a Lionel ZW-L.  I wonder if there is a way to somehow use that to power them.  Then I could use the built in power controllers to turn them on and off.  I also have several ACS’s that can control accessories.

I did some research and found several devices that should work.  I found a five device set for about $30.  I can plug them into a power strip and turn the rides on and off and set the sound level.

Still need to hide the controller so I’ll just have to drill a large hole and then cover it up with a patch of carpet.  I put a nice green indoor/outdoor carpet on the layout.
