How to Remove the Shine?

I used "Goof Off 2" safe on plastics to clean a blemish on a car. I tried soap and water beforehand but the blemish remained. Goof Off 2 removed the blemish but left a shine. How do I return to the dull coat finish? The color is Army green. Should I apply Testors dull coat (spray) or leave well enough alone?

I would leave it. The shine should wear off after a while.
