I have a room 11’ x 9’. Looking to have 48” radius curves double main line and another line for freight with a small yard. Any ideas?

Keep in mind that if you truly mean 48" radius that is a 8 ft diameter in a 9 ft room so you are going to be spaced challenged to what you can do. For layouts like this, there are lots of standard plans available, that give ideas on how to arrange sidings etc. Find one you like. You can even look at standard 4x8 foot HO plans there are 100's out there. It may give you some ideas. Just double size and shorten accordingly.
I'm guessing you mean O48 which is 48 inch diameter, not radius, no? 48 inch radius is O96, a very broad curve on any layout.
Your right 48” diameter
O gauge trains. Most Williams pas and passenger cars. With lots of Lionel freight trains.
