How to Wire Lionel Plug-Expand-Play (P-E-P) Accessories to MTH AIU

Purchased another Lionel P-E-P accessory (2129090) and want to know if anyone else has wired these to the MTH AIU.

According to the instructions you don't use the white wire when connecting to the Lionel ASC2.

I've attached the wiring diagrams in hopes someone knows the answer.
