This morning I seen on the Heritage Units website that NS Honoring Our Veterans SD60E #6920 was leading a Westbound Stack train at Sewickley PA at 8:41AM. So I decided to wait an hour and see any updates. Well there were none. But I did get a message from Train Orders that he might pass Alliance at 11AM. So I decided to drive out to Hudson Ohio - Colony Park Pedestrian Trail Walking Bridge. I got there at 11AM. Well I waited only around 20 to 25 minutes when I saw a light. But it also looked like 2 lights side by side. Maybe a train race? Well it wasn't when he passed me, but it would of been a few miles west of me. Anyway, he passed under the bridge at 11:28AM. He's leading NS Westbound Intermodal 21Q bound of Chicago. So if anyone in very far western Ohio and Indiana want to see it, you still have a little time. You can keep track of him her - https://www.heritageunits.com/...motive/Detail/NS6920 Anyway, I thought I would share this. Anyway, what a way for me to start the New Year 2017.

Yes, it is. NS sure did a great job commemorating the First Responders & Veterans. Also Go-Rail. Thanks also to Wick Moorman for doing this. He's greatly missed at NS. Also thanks, youngstown for liking my topic.
Thanks John B for liking my topic.
NS #6920 is a sharp looking unit. NS D8-40CW #8340 is an attention getter for me too. Thank you for posting!
Such a classy looking locomotive, NS really did a great job....good catch!
Wow, I have to study the roof's antennas and what else is going on there. The lead engines have more stuff up there than I have seen. Must be all the new tech stuff?

Yea, it's mostly used for GPS.

Thanks. Yes 6920 is. Also 8340 is an attention getter in my opinion as well because it's Ex. Conrail. He even has a Leslie 3 Chime RS3L to, but when he crossed Stow Road, his horn only sounded like 1 horn was working.

Chris, yes it's a classy locomotive. Actually the SD60E in my opinion looks really good even in regular NS. Also though's Crecent Cabs I like as well. The C40-8.5W has the Crescent Cab. Yes it's great NS has done this, thanks to Wick Moorman. But sorry he left. But at least these units are here to stay for a long time.
