For my birthday my wife and I took the Hickory Creek from NYP to Albany. The Hickory Creek is a restored observation car from the 1948 20th Century Limited. The trip also included Tavern-Lounge No. 43. We took NJT to the city and visited Moynihan Train Hall and the Metropolitan Lounge for the first time.
There were 16 passengers in the car. Luncheon cooked on the train was included. Some photos of the interior and during the layover at Albany before the return trip. A wonderful day and of course all the views along the Hudson River during the trip.
