They shipped it to Brazil. The Germans sure can make great machines. Can't say as much for their electronics, though. I worked on a lot of German X-Ray machines back in the 70's.

Of course, the world is full of myths. "German engineering" has to be in the Top Ten. From experience, from observation.
The Germans made the Grundig radio which was really well built at the time and with a beautiful wood grain finish. that's one reason are there trades were considered Master machinist, master electrician master etc! they were a proud people and took pride in what they built!

The order was placed with Beyer-Peacock, the British firm that built Beyer-Garrats. Beyer-Peacock was beginning to shut down, so B-P subcontracted the order to Henschel.
