For years I never had a reason to chase tinplate. I am not a fan of rust and AC motors. Now with MTH doing it with all the toys I am in trouble. I already purchased my first set.
Love that Chris! Check out our closeouts too!
Charlie my buying situation is a bit different than most as I do work for Charles Ro. I always brag about your service. Last year I ordered an item from you and had it the next day. I was shocked. If anyone asks me who has the best shipping, I always throw your name out. I have ordered many items in my train life but have never received one the next day.
Welcome to the tinplate world, Marty. Sounds like you've caught the bug, but there's no cure for it. I grew up surrounded by tinplate and there's simply nothing like it. Hope to meet you someday--we are, I guess you could say, New England Neighbors.
One question: what switches are you using on your layout, and how are the tinplate locos handling them?
Many thanks,
John

Agreed Marty. Charlie & Chris get it out the door quick! Excellent customer service!
John, I have not got to operating yet. My layout is done with a wide selection of switches. I do not have room on the layout for what I have collected over the years. I have one bedroom that could get some train tables but then I will not have a place to let Locolawyer sleep when he visits.
Marty. I think that set would look great on the elevated line on The layout!
Marty F,
Welcome to the very best part of the OGR world, I knew sooner or later Chris would corrupt you over to the dark side, of course now that you have become a Tin Plate guy,
you will have to become very laid back, and also start restoring great old Tin Plate Trains, you will get to know Pappa Steve even better, and I can see a 263E Red Christmas Train in your future. We got you now buddy!
Looks like LocoLawyer is going to be sleeping on the floor!
