Is there a survey section on the forum?  I tried to create a test survey to see how to use it, but I can only find it through an advanced search.   I did not see it in the list of Recent Posts or within the topic directory.

I feel like it could be a great tool, but I clearly do not know how to use it.  Is there a way to embed the survey within a post on the "Hi-rail, 027 and Traditional 3-Rail O Gauge" forum?  I am open to suggestions.  Thank you!

Edit: link to survey: https://ogrforum.com/...ystems-and-diameters

What is the survey about?

Alan, I appreciate your responsiveness and making the forum and magazine what it is today.

My survey is asking for which track system people use and what is the minimum diameter used on their layout.

So they aren’t novel questions, but I am curious about those responses in a quantitative aspect. Also, I was trying to test the survey feature that is a great tool, but seems to be underutilized on the forum.

I can't get the link to work Track Systems and Diameters but going to your profile and activity, I found it here:

It says 24 participated and I am one of the participants

That is exactly how I found the survey. For some reason, you "should" be able to find it from the home page, but I looked and did not see the "survey" button/tab/link.

Question:

Without the link provided by the original poster, how would one go about finding ANY "Survey" on the OGR Forum?

After re-reading (and properly understanding) your comment, you are getting at the very reason I created this post in the first place.  How would any of us go about finding ANY survey (not just mine) on the website?

As Dave suggests above, you can alter the URL to go to the survey page, but it is not listed in the menu bar items at the top of the page.

So my suggestion for the forum, for what it's worth, is to add a "Surveys" sub item within the "HOME" drop down menu at the top of the page.
