Spring is on it's way; my April York meet notice was in my mailbox this morning.

Same here. I was just mulling it over a few minutes ago. I've got some trains on my list. What I want and how bad I want it will depend on what all is crossed off my list before then. Looking forward to York.

Registered yesterday
My wife, Shannon, registered us the other day. She is looking forward to it which is kinda strange but very nice. At the fall York at the end of the meet she surprised me with a TMCC K-line Mikado. I installed cruise from parts from Boxcar Bill. I absolutely love this engine. The whistle blows me away. It's always on my layout, does not get rotated out like the other engines. great engine and even greater York memory.
I wonder if Shannon will surprise me with another engine...doesn't really matter, York is awesome and it's one train thing the family climbs on board with. I used to think all the York preparation posts were strange. Once you've been to York you " get it". I now also count the days and save the funds.
Ah......the 1st sign of Spring.....the York Flyer!
