We have it on Armstrong Cable Channel, and it is Channel 488. I had to buy and extra package to get the RFD Channel. With all the rest of the stuff on this channel, I assume "RFD" stand for Rural Farm Delivery, but that's ok, as long as I can see some train shows!...............................Brandy!
Brandy, thanks for the info; the original post has been edited, accordingly.
It's Rural Free Delivery referring to the mail. I love that show

Brandy,
You'll need to do some searching. There's more than enough train shows to satisfy the, "junkie" in most of us. Thanks to Carl (Pingman) for these weekly updates.
One note on the listing of the shows content here in the Charlotte area on Time \ Warner is that they are consistently wrong. I wonder if this is true elsewhere. The Trains and Locomotive shows on RFD are equally good. The last one on Russian steam was really interesting...

If you are referring to the program descriptions for "ILTT," I agree they are occasionally wrong. Last week, for example, the program description made reference to layout designer Clarke Dunham; yet, there was no mention of him or his work in the program.
If you supply the Time-Warner channel for RFD TV, I'll include it with the original post.
Thanks for the heads up!
could you explain the show premise
looks like an interesting show

I have learned to rely on your updates. Thanks so much Carl.
Me to I DVR it but I still like seeing that visual update on here.

It's a half-hour program with varying model RR topics. Usually it's O-gauge, and many are also available on video. Some weeks there's an emphasis on, say, early tinplate or military sets, sometimes there's a visit to one or more great layouts...that kind of thing. If you have good bandwidth, you can find some on YoouTube:

(that link looks weird--I hope it's done right.)
The Monday at 6 PM/Tuesday middle of the night show Trains and Locomotives is an hour long and shows commercial videos of real trains. There's a pretty good one that is a collection of WWII training films, there are long-distance steam trips, episodes focused on one restored steamer...it just depends.
Thank you b,t,g
i will try to watch
