I'm with AMCDave. I thought you had some special agreement with Rich about 765.   As for the Gat Northern I believe that is rolling stock from the famous Got Another Train railroad currently being discussed over on the Is the Honey Moon Over thread.

And here I thought you won the lottery.  Nice looking car anyway.

Andrew, this most likely has nothing to do with quality control.  The car could be one of the text shells when setting up the painting.  Where do you come up with this stuff.

Actually, that was pretty funny, especially when we pointed it out to the pain shop foreman. The only problem was, there was NOT enough time to correct it in time for the big open house event. In fact, that Dupont Imron paint was still a bit "tacky" when the FT set was pushed into the display spot, prior to the public entering.

The screw-up was fixed the following week, AFTER the open house, and then the set was kept indoors until the next time they were displayed (1999 Rail Fair at the California State Railroad Museum).

Actually the missing R and E letters was not the error.  The error was the G ... it was supposed to be a D for  DAT Northern RR.  Yep, Dat's the one.  Send it back to the Mfg.
