Hi Cody,

Well, you certainly have a catalog full of trains on your wish list.  And it's important to have dreams and goals.  Unfortunately, reality sometimes gets in the way of achieving those dreams and goals.  The important thing is to address your goals in a realistic way.  Part of that is prioritizing where to focus your attention.  Back in the day when I was a young man, two smart philosophers named Mick Jagger and Keith Richards said it best.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, well, you might find, you get what you need.

This won't be easy but narrow that list down to a reasonable number like your top 3.  Then develop a plan of action on how you might go about acquiring one of those sets.  Some people use vision boards.  Make it a goal but don't be obsessive.  Believe it or not, there is a lot more to life than model trains.  Though some of the members of this forum may not agree with that statement!

Man, I thought you were going to go with:

I can't get no satisfaction.

But your approach seems to share more in common with:

Time is on my side, yes it is.

alright i've narrowed it down to my top 3 sets plus adding a few separate engines

the 675 prairie freight

the LC2.0 pennsylvania limited set

the LC2.0 nickel plate set

MTH PRR Q2 - to be modified as Fenix Pacific 5883 - the legendary engine of the fearless female engineer Fenix Starr. i decided that Fenix Starr should drive a steam engine to make her more hardcore.

the LC2.0 Peppermint RR Berkshire
