Either a volunteer or a recommendation, such as,  "Try XXX;  he's very knowledgeable and helpful."

My RR is pretty complex  [VERY 3-dimensional] with many supplemental 'antenna-booster' wires connected to the room's ground wires AND to a new, outside, Earth-ground.  But there are still [too] many trouble spots!

Original Post

Does the TMCC signal degrade having to travel through the earth any distance?   Like from a rod in the ground all the way around/under the building to get to the grounding point for the house electrical circuit, into which the TMCC wall wart injects it's signal?

Is it true the best "TMCC antenna extension aka ground plane" wire is one which is continuous from the grounding point (the ground hole in a wall receptacle,  to the end of the wire, and not spread out like a spider web all over the place, or does it even make a difference?

Just wondering ... ;-)
