I have been talking back and forth with a guy for a while about trading a scratchbuilt caboose to him for a "box of trains."He said he got them from a relative and had no use for them. He wanted a caboose to display that depicted the one his grandfather worked on when he was working for the Southern RR (Southern Wood caboose). After trying to get descriptions and photos(which I never got) I decided to trade because he seemed like a nice guy.

I shipped him the caboose and received a box. It was full of HOn3 stuff! There are 3 Blackstone HOn3 locomotives and 23 narrow gauge cars. There is even a loop of Kato like NG track. I have looked at and drooled over it for 2 days. I hope it does not change my modeling direction but this is some beautiful stuff. I may wish I had not traded before this is over.

Malcolm,

Definitely agree.  The Blackstone models are terrific! If only they were larger in size!
