I have these Pennsylvania streamline cars. They date to 05. The couplers on two of the cars droop and drag. I can’t see any way of tightening them to the correct height. Model 39065

Got same problem, and since I don't know the fix, looking forward to reading what others say.
Who made these cars? Specifically, which cars have coupler issues? Pictures of the couplers with issues (both on track and upside down)?
If you take the truck off the car frame, can you tighten the screw from the top? That's the type I have seen.
I agree with RoyBoy. The "fun" is getting the truck separated from the frame. Once you have things apart, you should see a screw on top of the coupler arm that can be tightened. Don't get it too tight, or the arm won't swivel. A dab of Loctite on the threads will keep it in place. Others can chime in, but I think the blue stuff is what you want. It is not as permanent as the red stuff.

I "think" this is the truck you have.

Some nice photographer and videographer needs to tell Lionel about "The Closeup" for both their photos and videos.
When you have the trucks off, use blue Loctite thread locker when you tighten everything up, that way you won't have to do it repeatedly. These are somewhat infamous for loosening up with use.
