Well, I just got 30 loads from Don... things are looking up on my railroad.
after the beat down for the past few years ,it can do nothing but get better........
Did coal become cheaper than nat gas? Cleaner? Is it 1979?
It will stabilize, but with Natural gas so cheap I don't see it coming back but at least it won't decline like it has been.
I ripped out my natural gas furnace this morning and they are installing the coal one now, coal is definitely back. Welcome to the 50s ... we made it.
Unless they start recommissioning shut down coal fire power plants or build new ones where they were torn down, probably little change.

I doubt much will change as long as natural gas remains inexpensive relative to coal. I believe that the world will continue to move toward sun, wind, and other clean energy sources in the long run.
