I would like to request a plastic Grand Central Terminal from MTH

Being a great admirer of MTH plastic buildings, and also of NYC's Grand Central Terminal, I would request that Mr. Wolf offer us

a reasonable model of one. Moderately elaborate would be fine; I'm not looking for a $59.95 model - but at a price in line with his

other buildings, adjusted for size and features. I'm not going to buy the TW version - too much for a building, nice as it no doubt is.

I believe that a fairly impressive plastic GCT would sell, and could be issued several times under several names. Then he could do

Penn Station for those guys...then GM&O's Spanish-style Union Station/Gulf Terminal in Mobile...OOOPS! Too regional!

But really - I'll spring for the GCT.

Just don't call it Grand Central "Station"!

Great suggestion!!! It would be fantastic to see several of the legendary stations/terminals produced in the manner you've recommended. At the lower price point I would imagine several of us on here would opt to purchase one of each.

Hopefully your idea will gain enough traction to catch the attention of MTH and make it to production.

I am working on the old Grand Central Depot that existed in 1879-1910 before they demolished it and built the new one. Its about 25% done.

jack lynch who is now head of bachmann/williams product development built a beautiful station before he left MTH. mth found out it was to costly to build.
