Today's custom painting project. Turn a UP Trainman Hy-Cube into a illinois Central one. Stripped the UP yellow and left the silver roof. Hit everything with Testors Huggar Orange after primering. Decals are by Daniel Kohlberg. Added Atlas Cushion draft gear, will switch to Kadee mountable ones once they arrive in the mail.

Very nice looking car! I always thought that Atlas did a great job on this car. All one needs to do is add about 14oz of weight to it........

When I contacted him, his only interest was ho & n scale!
He will do the decals in O Scale for $30 a set.
The repainted P-S Hy-Cube looks great.
I am wondering when Atlas O will be able to make the orignal ILLINOIS CENTRAL scheme as a production run.
