Would any of you IC or Long Island modelers be interested in a Side Door Caboose, they will be 3d printed and come less trucks and couplers, so you can 2 rail, or 3 rail them. Several of them were bought by the LL. The IC had 200 of them, lasting thru the ICG years. Price point about $ 50 plus shipping Contact me off line.

Would be interested in an Ill. Cent. version. Assume that the car has an unbdercarriage and is not painted or lettered.
Another detail was tool boxes.
The Cabooses are unpainted, ready for primer and paint, IC Red, IC orange, or ICG orange., There is room for you to add an int and lighting. The number ser is 9700 thru 9899 built 1939 - 1941 at the Centralia Car Shops. I will post photos as soon as I get the Beta run from the 3d printer. Trucks and Couplers will not come with the body shell. We are hoping to get a fair number of interested modelers to make it worth the cost of the run. The 28 ft steel cabooses were the first steel cabooses for the IC and lasted in service till the late 70's with many upgrades and rebuilds.
So the sky is the limit on what you do to fit the time of your layout, the only place they did not run was in the state of Iowa.
