Icing Station Problem

I have a Lionel Icing Station from the 50's and I have it connected to a newer CW-80 transformer on the accessory side. Recently the ice man sporadically doesn't shove the ice far enough the push it into the ice car. I have tried lubricating all of the moving pieces but that did not help.

Any ideas other than replacing the plunger assembly underneath and if that is what is needed can you direct me to an online source to purchase a replacement assembly?

The dashpot is the only thing that should be oiled. Try programming the CW-80 accessory output to 16 volts instead of 14.
